Early Christmas vibes, even in time of trials.

"People making lists, buying special gifts. It's a time to be kind to one and all..."

Christmas is coming! We all know that this day is one of the most awaited special day of all...specially for the Filipinos. On the start of the -ber month, they already consider it as "christmas". They prepare for 3 months for that special day. Christmas in the Philippines are fun. Outside the street you can see many vendors selling different items, there are puto bumbong and bibingka for the simbang gabi goers. You can experience the christmas vibes in the Ph as early as September.

But unfortunately, something terrible happened this year. One of the strongest typhoon struck the Philippines leaving a mass destruction on Visayas. There are millions of people who were affected, and thousands who died. But still, they can't destroy the Filipino spirit.

I decided to help the victims by donating in kind. When I went to the grocery, I felt so happy seeing people with large carts filled with canned goods, boxes of bottled waters, toiletries, etc. Some even bought many clothes to be donated also. But you know what? It is not only the Filipinos who are doing such, there are also foreigners. That's right, people from other countries. They bought boxes of food, clothes, water. Oh what a lovely scene. Humanity restored.

In times of trials, God never leaves us. He loves us so much to do such things. He only did this, for us to be stronger than before. All the time He is helping us. Of course He can't do magic that will suddenly grant our wish, if that's the case everybody will just depend on Him. What He did was, He gave the people all over the world a good helping heart. I'm so thankful for all the people who helped, even the other countries.

Godbless you all!

XOXO,
Trixie
